Description:
What a great idea! These outer mirror housings, or "shells", are equipped with two LED lighting arrays. One of them curves facing the front and side, which to be connected to the turn signal circuit, and flash along with the signals. Another is on the bottom of the housing, to be connected to the door circuit, to illuminate the ground around the door when the door is open (often called a "Puddle Light"). Your Z will be safer on the road as signal indicators will be easier to see. You will also be safer from puddles and other hazards when stepping out of your Z at night! Besides the safety features, we think they look extremely awesome!
Installation Notes:
There are three significant procedures that need to be accomplished in the installation of this kit. First, the new mirror housings will need to be painted. Second, the original mirror will need to be dissasembled, and the mirror and motor assembly transferred to the new mirror housings. Third, the lighting will need to be wired in to two different circuits. We strongly recommend professional installation for this job. Please let us know if you have any questions.
